excerpt
‘The three musketeers’ portrays four Mexican busboys, who work at a Korean restaurant in New York City.
While I worked at the restaurant as a receptionist with the bus boys, they took for a habit to call me ‘mi amor’
Later I came back to visit them in the restaurant’s tiny storage room where they gather and take a rest during the day. I persistently ask them to call me ‘mi amor’ as a simple and playful game hoping to create relationships between them and myself. Gradually we developed trust piercing the barrier of anonymity.
